Paddy performed a set with Van Morrison before Christmas. The Boom Band, of which Paddy is a regular member, was chosen as the house band for the series of charity concerts organised by Manfred Mann/Radio 2’s Paul Jones. Van and the band played a full 45min set including his great version of Georgia, Real Real Gone, Whenever God Shines A Light and some blues tunes from Van’s set. There are some fabulous Rob Blackham pictures from the night at www.blackhamimages.com/portfolio/item/van-morrison-cac and the Boom Band’s site including the opportunity to order their debut album on vinyl is at www.boom-band.co.uk.
